Master Planning Process

FCC 2018-2021 Strategic Plan

Product of a 10-month process (January –October 2017)
Identified 5 Strategic Focus areas and goals:

  • Worship
  • Ministry and Mission Outreach
  • Engagement and Relationship Building
  • Financial Sustainability and Facility
  • Communication

WHAT you felt was important for FCC as we move ahead:

  • Place a strong emphasis on children and youth
  • Create an environment that attracts and retains younger families by offering connections, support and community
  • Offer opportunities for those outside of our walls to gather and develop relationships in a Christian environment
  • Develop a mission focus at FCC

HOW do we accomplish this?

  • Evaluate our current ministries and listen to their needs
  • Evaluate our current facility and determine how to create more functional and attractive spaces
  • Balance our immediate short term capital needs with a long term perspective by developing a Master Plan; creating a church that attracts the community and fulfills ministries on multiple levels.

Jeffrey Parker Architects was engaged in November 2017 for a 5-month period. Their role is to evaluate our building uses, to offer conceptual solutions to the areas we have identified as needing repairs, replacements and updating, and to present for our review a comprehensive Master Plan with conceptual drawings that meet our current and future needs.
