We are pleased to announce that the congregation voted to approve the recommendation of the Search committee and Church Council to call Dr. David Walls to be the next Senior Pastor of First Congregational Church. Dr Walls will be installed at a Single Service planned for October 3rd at 10:30am. Retiring Senior Pastor, Dr Gary Hogue, will remain on staff in a support role, and Rev. Jeff Goodwin will continue as Assistant Pastor. God is doing so many wonderful things here at FCC, and the Holy Spirit is truly active among us. We are grateful for the Christ centered, diligent work of our Search Committee, and look forward to continued growth through the future years. |
Join us at 10:30am every Sunday morning this summer for a traditional style worship service in the beautiful Garden of Remembrance at First Congregational and worship right in the middle of nature! (Indoor seating is available for those who prefer, and the entire service is moved indoors for inclement weather.) |

We now have two opportunities for men to participate! Our Thursday morning group is currently going through part 3 of the Men's Fraternity series, and meets in Fellowship Hall at 6:30 AM every Thursday morning. Our Wednesday evening group is currently going through part 1 of the series and meets in the Front Room at 6:30 PM every Wednesday night. Check out the Men's Ministry page for more information. |
On Saturday, August 8th during the Single Service the kids ages 4 years -5th grade will have an AWESOME party ...watermelon spitting contest, sand crafts, parachute game and an awesome summer lesson straight from God's Holy Word! While mom and dad hear an awesome sermon from our new pastor you won't want to miss this fun morning...hope to see you then...all welcome! |
