According to Earthworks, the average American home has leaks that amount to a nine-square foot hole in the wall. Everyone needs to winterize their home. Let's spend some time thinking about winterizing our lives. In every person's journey, the cold winds will blow, the temperatures will drop, and snow and ice threaten to freeze us into despair. Through February 14th, we will explore the importance of preparing for those times with insights from two of the great prophets - Isaiah and Jeremiah. These two spoke God's truth to Israel in the midst of devastating storms. We can learn from them. I invite you to winterize your life over the next weeks. |
Each weekend we have four distinctive worship services here at First Congregational: 6:30pm Saturday there is a contemporary service with the Psalm21 Praise Team. On Sundays, there is an 8:30am traditional, chapel service, a 10:30am Traditional, Sanctuary service with hymns, choir, and pipe organ, and a 10:30am Contemporary service lead by Gegg Law and the Sunday Praise Team. All services feature the same message by one of our preaching pastors. Details... |

On Wednesday night we gather first for Children’s choir and games. Then at 7:00pm the younger ones, ages 4 years through 1st grade, have a chance to deepen friendships, learn a basic Bible lesson and to do what they do best, play. The older children, 2nd through 5th graders, are broken into Girls and Boys Club. Here the kids really experience being part of a small group. The girls get to talk, bond, and share from their hearts. The boys have a lesson that is hands-on and meets them where they are at. TGIW Kids Club is a great way for your child to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ We will be performing a Spring Musical in April. Click under Children for more info... |

In 1997, George Ferrar began a Bible Believing, Spirit led mission on the tiny island of Caye Caulker, off the shore of Belize. He soon recognized that an island high school was one of the greatest needs on Caye Caulker, and set about organizing and building a Christian High School there. There have been many trials, miracles, and delays along the way, but there are now classrooms ready, the school's license (from the Belizean government) in hand, and teachers on the way, ready for an August 2009 school opening! The goal is to "provide an atmosphere of faith, hope and love where students can grow, flourish rapidly, and take their first steps toward their unique callings in life. |
